The Avant-garde Skeleton, with its modern stylish design is an evolution of the Classic Skeleton. The dial consists of two openwork plates superimposed to show depth with a three-dimensional effect. A honeycomb pattern below and a gear motif on top emphasise the mechanical features of the watch. The Avant-garde Skeleton has refined the exhibition of the mechanical movement unique to ORIENT STAR. Each part of the display can be read easily at a glance, not just the hour and minute hands and indices, but also the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and the small second hand at 6 o’clock. Even with the skeletonisation, high legibility is achieved due to the complimentary colour scheme used on the calculated open works on the dial.

Layered Skeleton takes its inspiration from business suits and features an original dial composed of two layers. The semi-skeleton opening on the dial is paisley shaped, and the open-work design of the power reserve display also reveals the inner workings of the mechanical movement, giving the watch dial an eye-catching look. This limited-edition model of 700 pieces feels active and youthful with its mint green dial reminiscent of a fresh breeze over the blue ocean, and a stainless steel (SUS316L) metal bracelet with five-piece links arranged in short pitches. With three centre hands, a date display, and Orient Star’s signature power reserve indicator, the Contemporary Date has become a favourite for its versatile design, effortlessly suited to any occasion from business to casual. The latest models refresh the long-cherished dial design with updated details and colours, while preserving the character of the Contemporary Date. The most notable change is the simplification of Orient Star’s power reserve indicator: the previous combination of three-dimensional scale parts and printed numerals has been replaced with printed details alone, bringing a seamless sense of consistency to the dial. The indices have evolved from rounded to a sharp, edgy shape that emphasises the watch’s modern style. New distinctive features can also be found in the dial’s finishing and colours. A sandblast pattern on the surface of the dials create a rough texture, finished with a clear coating to accentuate the exquisite contrast of the two effects.

The M34 F8 Date features a traditional design comprising of three centre hands of hour, minute and seconds, a date display at 3 o’clock, and Orient Star’s signature power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. This model features intricate stamped patterns inspired by the Perseid meteor shower as seen in the earlier blue dial model. Enhanced with optical multilayer film technology, the design allows the colours and patterns to shift beautifully depending on the viewing angle. This in-house developed optical multilayer technology creates colour tone effects on the metal plate by layering nano level, near-transparent films that control the reflectance and transmittance of light. With this technology, it is possible to express the deep outer space, which would not be possible with normal painted dials. The M34 F8 Date is not only unique in aesthetics and high in quality but also excels in practicality, making it an attractive everyday timepiece.

The optical multilayer film controls light reflectance and transmittance through multiple layers of nano-thin transparent film, to produce an effect which would not be possible with normal paintwork. Furthermore, due to the dual curved sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides (SAR coating), the glossiness of the white dial and the intricate pattern on the blue dial can be admired clearly.

This new Diver 1964 2nd edition is based on the Calendar Auto Orient, one of the company’s first divers’ watches released in 1964. The Calendar Auto Orient featured simple dot indices on a mirror black finished dial, hands designed for excellent visibility, a rotating bezel incorporating an anodized aluminum ring, and sharply defined lugs. While the new Diver 1964 2nd edition reflects the designs inherited from the original model, a screw case-back, a dual curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 200 metres compliant with the ISO 6425 standard for air diving watches. It also features the in-house 46-F6 series caliber F6N47 automatic movement, which provides high accuracy and a power reserve of over 50 hours. This black version is a faithful tribute to the Calendar Auto Orient with a mirror black finish on the dial and a matching shiny black bezel surface. The glossy black colour gives this sporty divers’ watch a dressy look, fitting in perfectly with current lifestyles and trends that see such watches being worn on any occasion with any style of clothing. The case is made of high-quality stainless steel (SUS316L) and its relatively compact 41-mm diameter makes it ideal for everyday use. The five-piece link metal strap is made of the same SUS316L stainless steel, providing an unmistakable presence on the wrist as well as a comfortable fit. A divers’ extension structure and the trifold deployment buckle with push button and security latch are included, making the watch practical to use when playing sports or walking around town. The pyramid-like ridges of the additional silicon strap echo the design of the metal band of the original Calendar Auto Orient, providing a different look to enjoy. *1 The original 1964 models do not meet current ISO standards as there were no clear standards for divers’ watches at the time.

This Diver 1964 model reflects its proud history, reproducing the original design of the Olympia Calendar Diver model, released in 1964, with an upgrade to contemporary diver’s watch specifications. This exceptional model combines a vintage design with ORIENT STAR’s latest high-performance in-house movement. The Diver 1964 reproduces the same features of the original model: a rotating bezel made of solid stainless steel, three-dimensionally cut indices, an arrow-shaped hand, and a case shape with sharp lugs, while offering significantly improved water resistance compared to the original model’s 40 meters*1. This new model’s water resistance has been upgraded to 200 meters - compliant with ISO standards for scuba diving watches. Refined qualities such as a screw down crown and screw case back, a dual curved sapphire crystal with a non-reflective coating, are also required to meet the standard of authentic divers’ watches. In contrast to the hand-wound movement in the original 1964 model, this new model has a contemporary automatic movement for increased usability. Another new feature is the indicator which shows the 50hours power reserve’s remaining running time. The comparatively compact 40.2 mm diameter case, the pure steel colored rotating bezel, and the silver dial create an understated look, making it ideal for everyday use. The Diver 1964 model is available in a worldwide limited edition of 900 pieces and each watch has a serial number engraved on the case back. *1 The original 1964 model does not meet current ISO standards as there were no clear standards for divers’ watches at the time. Water Resistance: Scuba Diver’s 200m (ISO standard) Limited edition of 900 pieces, serial number engraving

The new Mechanical Moon Phase piece is a refined version of ORIENT STAR’s most symbolic flagship featuring a new in-house movement with a 50-hour power reserve. It features a semi skeleton aperture at 9 o’clock, power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, and a moon phase with date display at 6 o’clock. The dial features Roman numeral indices and the traditional OS logo stamped pattern. The hour and minute hands are wider, and the hour hand has been shortened ensuring it does not overlap the index markings. The width balance of both hands has been refined in units of 0.01 mm to increase visibility and legibility. The model features sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides of the glass (SAR coating) to reduce glare and ensure visibility. The case back is also sapphire crystal while the case and metal bracelet are made of high-quality corrosion-resistant stainless steel (SUS316L). The result is a practical, yet elegant everyday timepiece further enhancing the appeal of mechanical watches.

The new Skelton is featuring a new hand-wound movement with 70 hours of power reserve. The latest in-house 46-F8 series movements, feature longer power reserves of 70 hours, making them more practical than ever before. The longer running time is achieved thanks to the new silicon escape wheel which is lighter and processed with higher accuracy. Beside, it has longer running time as well as a high accuracy of +15 to –5 seconds per day even with the ultimate skeletonisation. The escape wheel visible through the watch’s skeleton structure uses Epson’s MEMS technology to control the film thickness at the nanometer level to adjust its light reflection, resulting in an eye-catching blue. The vivid blue and a unique spiral shape evokes the Milky Way Galaxy, and the movement part at the nine o’clock position in the shape of a comet with two tails, symbolising the universe-inspired design theme. The model uses high-quality SUS316L stainless steel for the case, and come with a exceptionally durable cordovan strap.

This model evokes the elegance of time flowing in Japanese nature with new designs inspired by the moon reflected on Lake Tazawa in Akita Prefecture expressed with mother-of-pearl and gradation. The brown dial, created by combining mother-of-pearl and gradation that blackens towards the circumference, evokes the surface of the lake at night, while the silvery moon on the moon phase disc represents the moon floating behind the clouds. The elaborate details, such as the three-dimensional printed Roman numerals, a black ring separating the dial, and the transparent concealed Orient Star “OS mark” printing on the dial, can also be seen clearly through the dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.l The automatic mechanical in-house calibre F7M65 offers a power reserve of 50 hours as well as stable high accuracy of +15 seconds to -5 seconds per day. Finally, the beautifully finished movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal see-through case back. Limited 180 pcs. + exchangable metal bracelet

This model returns to a design that closely resembles the original Mechanical Moon Phase released in 2017. It includes classical Roman numerals on the outer edge of the dial, and OS logo that is only visible depending on the angle of light, positioned in the centre of the dial within the ring separating the two sectors. A notable update has been made to one of the most original features of this watch: the expression of the moon phase. The moon’s backdrop has been changed to a vibrant, deep-blue-coloured night sky, and the stars appear sharper due to improved brightness. The dual curved sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides (SAR coating) blocks approximately ninety-nine percent of reflections, providing high visibility from every angle for a clear view of the entire watch dial. It also includes an additional strap made of cordovan, allowing the wearer to enjoy different facets of the watch.

This M45 F8 Mechanical Moon Phase Hand Winding model has a new minimalist design expressing the theme of “a graceful passage of time”, and is composed of hour and minute hands to tell the time, as well as power reserve indicator and moon phase display, both iconic Orient Star features. The regular model with white dial depicts a scene of the moon shining in the stillness of night. The fine radial pattern of the dial and thick, clear coating applied with a wrapping technique emphasise the blue leaf-shaped hand against the elegant glossiness of the background giving the watch a sense of sophisticated classicism. Also memorable is the long minute hand that extends to the minute scale, with its tip slightly rounded as if to mimic the curve of the glass. The leisurely flow of time is expressed through the omission of a second hand and the absence of scales on the power reserve indicator and moon phase display.

This M45 F8 Mechanical Moon Phase Hand Winding model has a new minimalist design expressing the theme of “a graceful passage of time”, and is composed of hour and minute hands to tell the time, as well as power reserve indicator and moon phase display, both iconic Orient Star features. This model’s dial has a stamped pattern expressing the countless stars of the M45 Pleiades star cluster, and a monotone gradation transitioning from grey in the centre to black on the outer edge using uniquely formulated paint. In addition, the thick, clear coating applied with a wrapping technique portrays the depths of the universe stretching into eternity. Equipped with an in-house silicon escape wheel and 70-hour power reserve, calibre F8A62 is characterized by a bridge with a cut-out allowing the blue escape wheel to be viewed from the see-through case back. It also features Geneva stripes evoking star trails, a crescent-shaped window, and a revamped moon phase display that now features a moon motif made of mother-of-pearl and stars scattered against a lustrous night sky.
